Self-Publishing
In addition to Traditional Publishing, ZLS does Self-Publishing. We are not like Lulu, Xlibris and all these other so-called self-publishing companies. First of all, our difference is from the start:
1) We have a Traditional Publishing line. This means that every book that comes out of this company regardless of whether it’s been printed only, traditionally done or self-published, will look the same. It will look as if it was traditionally done, although it may have very well been self-published.
2) We DO NOT provide book cover templates.
3) We DO NOT publish books that have not been professionally typeset and edited. We offer typesetting and editing services.
4) We work closely with the authors we do business with.
5) Due to the traditional publishing line we have, we don’t disclose if the author is a traditionally published client or a self-published client and nobody will be able to tell when we are done with an authors product.
What Kind of Authors Publish With Us?
The authors who truly want to self-publish their books. Those are the authors who understand they are making an investment in their product. The kind who understands that books are a business. We are for the author who is truly serious about their publishing career.
Self-publishing for some authors, is the best option. They don’t want to wait two years for a book to come out and they are grinders. They’ve got a plan and they just need help getting to the next step. Serious self-published authors want their books to look great and we believe they should. Here, you won’t be able to tell whose been self-published from whose been traditionally published. We believe in every author getting the same treatment.
Our self-published authors do just as well as our traditionally published authors if not better sometimes. They are out there marketing and selling their books really hard and their sells show it. If you are serious about selling your book and doing well, then we are the company for you. If you are serious about your book looking its very best, then we are the company for you. If you want your book to look like Lulu, Xlibris and any other crappy behind company that takes anything and everything, then we are NOT the company for you.
We are not the biggest book publisher but we are the best. We are passionate about books and book publishing. If you are serious about your publishing career and you don’t want to wait for a traditional publisher then we are for you. If you are interested in publishing a book to just hand out to friends, then we are not the publisher for you. If you know and believe that publishing is a business and your book is a product within your business, then we are the company for you. Please note: We do not offer book marketing materials such as flyers, bookmarks and all the other craziness. If you need such material, we know of a wonderful company that will provide these services to you and we will be very glad to refer you to them.
Payment arrangements: All services require a 50% deposit which can be paid right here on the website. No files will be released until the final 50% has been paid in full and cleared.
