ZLS Publishing continues to provide exciting, growth-filled employment opportunities for professionals with a diverse array of talents. We offer countless opportunities for motivated individuals eager to learn about publishing and gain invaluable “hands-on” experience – all while earning college credit.
ZLS offers internship positions in a wide variety of functional areas. For rising college seniors, ZLS offers a summer internship program as well as internships throughout the fall and spring. The internship program consists of three 10-week long sessions. During the spring and fall, interns work 9- 12 hours per week. During the summer, interns work 28 hours per week.. By the end of the 10-week program, you will have gained valuable experience working at a top publishing house and sunk your teeth into a meaningful project within your area of interest.
We generally look for the college students who take initiative, possess strong communication skills, professionalism, and work effectively with others. We seek motivated individuals with a strong work ethic and the flexibility to balance multiple projects and tasks. A strong academic record, involvement in extracurricular activities and excellent computer skills are also important qualities we seek.
When expressing your interest in our company, please feel free to inform us of an interest in a specific genre, division or format. Please note that internships are unpaid and for credit only. Students are advised to check with their college administrators to ensure that they are able to receive college credit for the internship. Further, no relocation support will be provided and candidates accepted into the program are responsible for securing their own housing in the Capital Region area.
