Independent B2B Sales Rep-All imprints
ZLS Publishing is expanding it’s wholesale reach across the US and has an immediate need for experienced Independent Sales Representatives.
We offer a potentially lucrative performance-based sales opportunity with commissions starting at 12% of sales. We charge NO fees to our independent sales reps.
As an Independent Sales Representative, you are responsible for bringing in new business for ZLS Publishing. Candidates will utilize their existing B2B sales experience in prospecting for sales, following up with new accounts, and communicating with ZLS Publishing on a frequent and regular basis.
We carry a variety of children’s book, sci-fi, paranormal, business, self-publishing, and print-only books. Our Representatives contact coops, specialty markets, organic and natural foods stores, farm and garden supply stores, and traditional and innovative book-selling (or potentially book selling) locales, that qualify to purchase wholesale, to promote and sell our ever-changing inventory of books. ZLS Publishing handles everything else; order processing, shipping direct to the customer, invoicing, collection . . . our Sales Reps’ job is to focus on sales – increasing market share. The books are sold with the provision that they are NOT for resale online.

2) Independent Self-Publishing Sales Rep
ZLS Publishing is looking for an experienced book sales expert to capitalize on our current market success with self-publishing authors and develop new strategies to bring in more self-publishing authors. If you are results-driven, have a successful track record of meeting sales goals, and are committed to creating new opportunities, we are interested in meeting with you.
Outcomes: Critical objectives include: Expand sales by going out into the writing community to seek out new business. Develop a familiarity with what ZLS Publishing does and proactively identify sales opportunities. Foster mutually beneficial relationships and drive greater awareness and engagement within new market segments. Analyze current and future market trends and customer needs and implement actions based on findings. Track and drive relevant metrics to ensure the effectiveness and continuous improvement of book sale initiatives. Develop open lines of communication with customers to ensure delivery of high-level customer satisfaction. Other objectives and priorities as your initiative and experience dictate.
Competencies: The ideal candidate possesses: 2-3 years of prior experience in sales, with a minimum of 2 years selling to non-bookstore accounts including corporations, associations and other organizations. Demonstrated and measurable success in meeting sales revenue goals. Superior client and partner relationship management abilities. Highly motivated, independent, and personable with excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong creative and writing skills to design program strategy, messaging, and themes. A relevant bachelor level degree or equivalent experience.
