By GOP’er: I read this book fearing for the worst. I thought that it would either be a fluff piece written by a former staffer talking about how great his boss was, or a disgruntled ex-employee bashing his previous boss. I wasn’t sure which category Dan Bazile fell into–and I am still not sure. That is probably the best part of this book: Dan was honest and candid; he talked about what he saw, but he did not harp on his personal feelings, whether positive or negative.
By Sandy: Well done! I enjoyed reading this book because it was not a negative, bashing of others review. It was an inside media person’s insight into the political world. Mr. Bazile is a talented anchor on a local news station and now a published author.
By RV: I give this book 5 stars! Clearly the author has the talent, human insight, and fortitude to make a project like this come to fruition, with its myriad calamities and complexities, both political as well as emotional, AND he does it with flying colors I might add. Nice job.
By Shantae Rivers: Different but great! There were definitely favorites within this book and one of them having been that Kirsten Gillibrand was called a political prostitute. Loved it! I loved the honesty of this author. I loved how he was willing to admit and describe what so many politicians were thinking and actually had the balls to put some of the stuff in there. I loved the cover! Great job to the author!
